This is my second "stonerscape" that i've uploaded, the first being "creep jam". This atmosphere gives off a dark and brooding feel, my interpretation of what one may experience in a deep, suspended animation state. Get yourself properly prepared (if legal in your area), use good quality headphones, and relax in a comfortable, laid back position in a darkened room.

Low, metalic drone in f# made by time-stretching some voice sample ran through vocoder (using paul's extreme sound stretch). It has some digeridoo timbre, but just a little bit :) enjoy.

En modulerande osc och en som moduleras, men man hör bägge i mixen! ena osc går via en lpg den andra via vca/mix. Till det "skrynkliga" ljudet använder jag en pip slope modulerad av jerkoff och sloth. Ljudkällan är en sinus som går via en lugnt modulerad wave shaper. En envelope follower plus sloth ger en trg till en s/h ibland och då byts tonen. Skrynkelljudet går även till mitt analoga delay. Tonen är även liiite modulerad av en env. Ganska west coast och buchla. . . Google translate :-)buchla style slow krell. The sound source is a sine that goes through a quietly modulated wave shaper. An envelope follower plus sloth gives a trg to an s / h sometimes and then the tone changes. The cry sound also goes to my analogue delay. The tone is also liiite modulated by an env. Pretty west coast and buchla. . .

Made a dark drone on my modular.

Sound made by bowing a detuned guitar tied to a clothes hanger. Recorded with two contact microphones. No effects were added, the apparent reverb tails are the waves resonating within both the guitar and the metallic clothes hanger.

Warning: loudlawnmower idle at close distance. Recorded at 24bit 96k with dr-05 in back garden during summer. Ab recording pattern.

I'm note sure where or when i recorded this, but it features a number of interesting and useful sounds. It opens with a nice tone, and features various evocative scenes.

2hp osc is fm modulating bermuda (using fm in). Pitch cv to osc is controlled by sloth and attenuverter. The bermuda tri output singnal is shaped by doepfer vactrol vcf. The vcf is modulated by sloth (cv in 1) and jerkoff (cv in 2). The noise it from dan, going to polivioks vcf. Polivoks is modulated by sloth. Output from vcf is going to vca controlled by another sloth.

A drone sound i created using a dsi mopho, recorded in logic. I didn't use any fx. It's a filter sweep with some resonance and lfo 1 is modulating pan position.

A lively chorus of droning insects and frogs, recorded with a pentax point-and-shoot waterproof camera in the dunes of tybee island, georgia on a wet summer evening. I think this track has a hypnotic and somewhat disorienting effect.
